British Council IELTS results WITHHELD!!

Yes I have given my exam on 19th sept in India. And there is no info from bc. They just say that wait for the update as they dont have any info. Waiting ...moreover they said it can take 4-12 weeks for withheld results. So its depend on luck whether it will take 1 month or 3 months...

I have called up BC many times. Every time they give me a new tentative date for the results. Latest update is that they have dispatched the results and it will reach in 5 to 10 days depending upon where you live and how 'reachable' your address is. My experience with them has been truly horrible. I wish there was an alternative.

They haven't dispatched the results yet. Whosoever gave u this info is wrong bcz whenever the results will be dispatched u will get a email from them.. so wait as much as u can.. I m too frustrated...

I got this information from British Council helpline number. I highly doubt that this is wrong information. Moreover they said that I can get the tracking number of the result by Saturday.

I called them. The withheld results of 19th sept has been declared....and will be dispatched by saturday....

19th Sep? That's even 7 days before my exam date.. And you still haven't heard anything from BC? I wonder when we'll be getting our results..

Finally!!! I got mine a couple of days back.. From the online posts it seems like the general trend is that the result is directly couriered to the candidates(whose results are withheld) after about 15 days of the announcement of the results...

I am facing same problem. my test was on 8 oct 2015. i called them and they said it is delayed because of some quality control procedures. Why they take so much time..

If any one on the same date recieved the result.plz update

I have given exam on 26th sep 2015 at chandigarh via BC. My result is still on hold as of 12 Dec 2015. They are saying their software is not working and need 7 more days. Anyone else in the same boat?

I took mine December 5th! This is the fourth IELTS exam I am taking, and apparently my results are withheld as well! It is annoying! I need CLB 9 and I keep missing one skill by half point each time!

1st exam: L 7.5 R6.5 W7 S7
2nd exam: L8.5 R7.5 W6.5 S7
3rd exam: L7.5 R9 W7.5 S7
4th exam :withheld!!!!

i have applied for enquiry on results in last week of august for my ielts result because i was not satisfied with the scores in writing module. normal processing time is 8-10 weeks but these bc people have taken 4 months and even after that saying call next week for update .
