Hi All,

I have appeared in BC IELTS General Training at Rajouri Garden,New Delhi on 27th September 2020.

I have received my results online in the portal as :

L = 8
R = 9
S = 7
W=6.5

I'm utterly disappointed by the writing result as I've done much better and confident that I should atleast gets 7 band. I just needs 0.5 band to get a cut in CRS score.

I have applied for the EOR today though I have not yet received my physical copy of TRF.

Please do share your experiences.

Ohh.. that's really sad.. what was the topic for writing task 1 n 2.. are you gonna re take ielts ?

I have applied for EOR, waiting for the outcome if comes negative then I will re-appear but only after better preparation of writing module. What about you?

Okay...I appeared without any formal preparation...But I don't know how they assessed the essay as I'm a decent writer :(

Not many but yes around 12-15 within the span of 15 days.

But I'm pretty much sure of the quality of the essay and letter I wrote in the actual exam and of opinion that I should get 7.5! But alas, I gutted by mere 6.5. Hoping for a positive outcome in EOR.

By the way, does my scores looks like a jagged profile?

Thank you so much sir for raising my hopes even higher :) Fingers crossed I will update soon once I receive the result of EOR.

I have filed EOR of Writing module only so expecting a quick turnaround even though they have mentioned the timeline of 2-21 days.

I wrote an essay in Task-2 about 318 words(which should be atleast 250 words) & letter in Task 1 around 190 words(which should be at least 150 words) is it okay or I have stretched too far?

yes.
Essay - upto 320 words are fine
Letter - upto 220 words are fine
But content matters.
