Hi,
I am currently working in the US and recently got a job offer from the same company, the location isbased in Vancouver, BC.
They have applied for my work permit and I should be getting it by April end 2018.
Details: NOC level A, code 2171.
I have reviewed the options to get Provincial Nomination in BC:
Based on the points system and cut offs for Skills Immigration (doesn’t require IELTS), I should hopefully get the approval for it. My points total around 100 without the IELTS and cut off is around 77.
Q1) I want to confirm whether I have a correct idea of the below process.
Let’s say, I apply on the BC PNP Online system under Skills Immigration and get the online approval. I would submit a paper-based application and get my BC Provincial Nomination, correct?
By that time, I should be having my IELTS score to create an Express Entry profile on IRCC so I can submit my application and get PNP points (600) making me eligible for the ITA - Is this a correct approach?
Q2) Should I wait to get the IELTS results and apply for Express Entry BC PNP option instead of Skills Immigration BC PNP? If so, why?
Q3) Can I apply on SIRS for BC PNP Skills Immigration while my temporary work permit in under processing?
It will be great if someone can help clarify the above questions.
Thank you.
