My spouse and I are moving to Canada from Arizona. He is a Canadian citizen and we have gone through all the hassle of getting our car financed, under Arizona registration. We are just learning that we will not be able to have a financed car in the country if we intend on residing there permanently.
Some options we've heard is that we get a letter from the financial institute to allow us to have the car there but it seems like a slim-to-none chance of that happening. Neither of us have jobs there yet and will be living with family.
Another option we've seen is to sell the car (at a huge loss) and just fly over (with 3 pets in tow).
We are open to any advice!!!
