Hi, my wife is currently applying for a study permit and cannot find any information regarding our 3 year old accompanying her, but we know she does not require a study permit until she is 5. I am uncertain of what type of visa to apply for, for my daughter. I have looked on CICs website and could not find any information regarding this. I would be grateful for any information.

1. If she is visitor visa exempt, then nothing.
2. If she is NOT visitor exempt, then she requires a TRV (visitor visa)

Hi, thanks for your reply. We will be in Canada for for 2 years, would a TRV or visitor visa last that long?

I have applied for study visa with my 2 minor daughters. You ahve to apply for a TRV for your daughter she ll b on visitor record and she will get a visa as long as your wife will get.

Thank you very much for your help
