I am fully aware of the TRV regulations that She can stay maximum of 6 months at a time.
This arrangement works for us and this is what we applied for.
I wanted the visa so that she can have flexibility to visit us. I believe its a 10 year Multiple entry visa in which she can go and come back.

Length of time she can enter pr whether she can enter is always determined at the border even if you have a TRV.
