Bringing Electronic Goods TV

Hi All,

Please advise if we are allowed to bring our Dual Voltage TV along with us. Will there by any custom duty on the same ? Even though we need to resolve the issue with the airlines because of the dimensions.

This will be our second entry and we have not submitted the list of goods to follow as the first entry was done about two years back.

The TV may not be much use, Canadian TV goes digital on August 31, 2011.
Over the air tuners will need to be ATSC standard.

It is likely that it will cost you more to ship your TV than it would to buy a new one in Canada.

As you have not defined it on a goods to follow list, IMO you could end up making a payment.At worst I would guess 5% duty plus Hst.
