My husband (American) wants to bring over his Rifle for hunting and target shooting purposes. Does anyone know what needs to be done for him to be able to do this? License? Registration? Through who?

Thank you so much,

- AngelB

EDIT; Title changed because it was terrible. LOL!

LOL...I am sorry...when I saw the topic the first thing that popped into my head was...

hmmm...thats one way of doing it quicker....not sure if IO's would appreciate it though... :P :P :P

Re: Immigrating with a Rifle.

Hi, he will have to apply for a Firearms Acquisition Permit before he can bring them across. This requires a back ground check etc. He will likely have to register it at the POE.
