Hi, I submitted my FSW application on the 13th of May 2015. I received an acknowledgment with a file No on it. I have also been charged with immigration and landing fee. I got my ITA without the LMIA. My PGWP(work Permit) expires on the 18th of June. Can I apply for a work permit extension.

You can explore the option of applying for a bridging open work permit. You will need to get a 2nd AOR based on your May 13 submitted application. The following link should be useful:
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/resources/tools/temp/work/prov/bridging.asp

Good luck!!!

You MUST immediately apply for a bridging work permit based on your ITA. You can live in Canada under "Implied Status" until you get your results back for Permanent Resident application. You should get a one year extension on your WP and by that time you will get your PR card. All well!

I am curious what was your total score? I am also on PGWP and my score is 457 without LMIA.

Would u happen to know how long they take for the 2nd letter
It seems to vary. I searched and found a comment from a forum member "uoser" who posted the following:

ITA 27-Mar
Documents Submitted 2-Apr
AOR 2-Apr
CIC is reviewing eligibility 3-Apr
Medical results Review in Progress 12-Apr
Medical results - Passed 20-Apr
AOR letter 26-May
BG Check background 29-May

So at this moment because EE is so new, it's difficult for anyone to tell you with any certainty how fast CIC will complete a certain process.

I have not seen a case where 2nd AOR was issued by CIC in Canada. So far 2nd AORs are being issued by VOs outside of Canada.
I am curious to see a 2nd AOR for inland application.
