Bridging work permit on student visa

Hi

I need some help with understanding the terms to apply for Bridging Work Permit. My situation is as follows:
- I am currently on Student Visa, pursuing my MBA (passing out in August 2019).
- I have recently applied for PR on 4th June, 2019 based on my past work history and education. I basically could've applied for PR and then come to Canada, but there was a lack of knowledge on my end.

Since I am on student visa, I cannot currently apply to full-time jobs, even though I have offers coming in, since my work permit will not be available to me before the end of August. I came across the concept of Bridging Work Permit wherein anyone who has applied for PR can apply for this to be able to work full-time.

Wanted to know if I can apply for Bridging Work Permit while being on student visa, and having applied for PR? Will it enable me to work more full-time, like a lot of my PR colleagues have already started?

No - you cannot. You would need to be holding a valid work permit to qualify. You hold a study permit that allows you to work. So unfortunately you don’t qualify.

How do i go about applying for the BOWP, because when i complete the eligibility test i do not get the AOR letter as 1 of the documents to upload only the medical report with passport, pictures and application to change conditition

BOWP is for someone hold valid work permit plus AOR and nominated letter( if you apply thru PNP)... U can only have someone to offer you the job which will also apply for LMIA, then get a closed permit under that company. even post grad work permit will only provide the validity based on the length of your program.

Sure met the requirement, as i do have a open work permit and Aor. So just trying to get to the correct link as the one i used did not give me the option to upload the AOR as 1 of the documents. or that is done as adfitional documents?
