Bridging Open Work Permit vs Sin

I called the call centre this morning and I was told that I was approved for Bridging Open Work permit. Since my curret sin# will expire when my 3 yr work permit expire in July. For my employer, I need to provide both my Birdging open work permit and a my Sin#...do I have to apply for a new Sin#?

No, but you have to renew your existing SIN.

Ah you just go to a Service Canada office if you are in Canada. Otherwise it is possible to renew by mail.
