Has anyone received a BOWP recently and can share their timeline?

Hear is my case briefly,
I am on PGWP working for an IT company full time from June 2016 to present,Now I got 451 points on completing 2 years work experience this month, I thought I will get an invitation on JUNE 6 WED,but unfortunately there is no draw yesterday.

My work permit will expire on JUNE 11 Monday and i am still in Express Entry with out ITA. There may be draw next WED which is june 13.
Assuming that my file will pick in the next draw but i may lose my work permit status,
I may not qualify for Bridge work permit.

Please advise your thoughts about my situation.

Hello all,

I got ITA under CEC on June 23/2018. submitted PR application on June 30/2018. Got AOR on June 30/2018.
My PGWP is expiring on July 31/2018. so I applied for BOWP on June 30/2018. Received letter of submission for BOWP on June 30/2018.
While applying for BOWP, I didn't upload my AOR as there is no provision.
I am getting updates on my PR application.
Medical exam passed - July/17/2018
Background check is in progress. IP2.

But there is no update in BOWP application.
I tried to upload my AOR through CSE on July/17/2018. But there is no response yet.
My work permit is expiring on July 31/2018.

What should I do now? Is there any way to upload my AOR and speed up the process?

Email response regarding your CSE may take up to 10 business days to come. So did you upload your AoR asking to add it to your BOWP application or not...?!.. did not get it properly, sorry

Do not worry about your current WP expiring soon, as long as you have submitted your PR and BOWP applications already...

There most likely will be no updates on your BOWP application till an approval, just stay patient

then it should be allright

your BOWP probably will take another month to get approved..average time of 51 days is listed on CIC website..it is quite true these days..plus maybe 2-4 days more..

Applied for ee in may 2018 and waiting.

From last year when I have applied, you cannot submit both BOWP and TRV application at the same time. Apply for TRV only after you get your BOWP.

You are able to have implied status if you are under IEC. I recently been on implied status. I needed proof of applying for BOWP prior to your visa expiring and I was lucky my work had their own lawyers to ensure it was enough for me to work. I just got my BOWP approved a couple of days ago. It took a month exactly to process through. From what the cic agent said was that they only issue the approval of BOWP when your application has passed eligibility.

I'm pretty sure you don't get implied status after being on an IEC Visa. Also what was your application for an extension for?

Need urgent help !!!

I currently have an open work permit which is expiring on 9th Oct, 2018
Recently i got invited and applied for PR under CEC Express entry stream, got my AOR on 20th July, 2018
Started to apply for Bridging open work permit

Note : I dont have any provincial nominee certificate or closed work permit.

I have a small queries in the IMM5710E app form

What option do i need to choose among these ? (3rd question).

• Apply for WP with same employer
• Restore my status as worker
• Apply for WP for the first time or with a new employer
• Get a new temporary resident work permit (for inadmissible applications)

What do we need to answer for the "The original purpose of coming to canada ?" (I have initially came as student later got my PGWP, then got invited under CEC express entry now applying for BOWP as my current PGWP is about to expire) - Is it study or work ?

I currently see the timelines as 4 weeks for open work permit application processing in website. Is this true?

Your help would be highly appreciated !!!!
