Mine is the same, PR AOR was also May 16 with no medical updates etc. The status just says 'It has been received...'.

I actually called this morning about the BOWP and at first they said I didn't have a PR application! (EEP!!!)... but once I gave them the number, they confirmed that it does indeed exist but that it's not yet linked to my BOWP application... which is why my BOWP application is now on hold.

She said this can sometimes take some time and couldn't give me any indication as to how long that could be (only that is has to be within 6 months as that's the PR processing time). Basically it looks like your PR application needs to get to a certain stage before they can approve the BOWP.

I've actually been on implied status for 6 weeks already and have a trip out of the country booked for this Wednesday.... it's looking like that will need to be cancelled now

Congrats! could you share your timeline?

here is my case:
My PGWP was expired on Jan 03 2017, on Jan 03 applied for work permit extension( not bridge) for the sake of implied status( not ITA yet ), then finally I got ITA on April 12. work permit extension results came on May 03 says rejected. from May 03 I am in restoration status. on May 06th got AOR. then may 12 I was applied for restoration and bridge work permit at the same time.

PR application: I am inland CEC applicant medical not passed yet, but my background check is in progress.
* last couple of weeks my bridge status blank, I was called CIC guys before yesterday they told me your work permit on hold until your R10 completes.
all of the sudden yesterday July 26th I got mail saying that your bridge work permit approved.

Hey thanks for that info!!! I'm pretty sure it also applies to us.
We are in the exact same situation... being on implied status for almost 5 weeks.
That sucks that you would have to cancel your trip, I thought BOWP would be processed faster

So did we! I'm pretty sure the average processing time back when we applied was only 40 days.

Fingers crossed we all get it soon... and I'd be grateful to hear of any progress you guys get in the coming days/weeks!

I'll post any updates! It looks like CEC people with AOR May 14th are getting their medicals passed. I saw one case in the tracking site who passed them yesterday

Hi, in my case I received the confirmation of application for BOWP two days later. You should be getting it soon

Yes, the application number was assigned 2 days after the application when I got the confirmation

I raised CSE and they replied "everything appears to be in order with your application".
What does that imply?

They want you to wait. It means you will get it soon.

Hey!!!! Mine got updated today too! Medicals passed but they are requesting my husband's RCMP fingerprints BGC. Any idea why they are asking for his and not mine??

No idea! We didn't get a request for fingerprints.

Is he the primary applicant? Maybe that has something to do with it?
