Plz Help!!!

I have been offered a job but they want to end the job offer on the date my work-permit expires. Do i need to have a job past my work permit in order to get BOWP or I only need AOR to get it. I am on Open Work. Permit.

Hi,

Could someone please advise for following ?
If a person is currently on a BOWP and assuming the application for Permanent residence is rejected.
Can that person be allowed to stay and work until the end date of BOWP or does he need to leave the country once the decision on the permanent residence application is made ?

Hoping for the best on the PR application to progress smoothly. But still, I would like to know about the worst case scenario when staying in Canada on a BOWP.

I don't think that BOWP would have any impact if PR application is rejected. It should be the same way as ur current closed WP still works in case of PR rejection.

Though PR shouldn't be rejected on those grounds wherein u can't work n reside.

Wait for other members to confirm before any conclusion

My BOWP was approved on June 30th but I still dont have it in the mail :o hope it comes before this strike fiasco, i have to renew my health card, SIN and apply for a new temporary resident visa

I applied for BOWP on June 12th and I haven't heard anything back yet. MyCIC says it's still being processed and a decision hasn't been made.

Anywhere between 15-30 days. Cic website says currently taking 27 days

Sorry for some reason I can't access the part of the CIC website that lists the processing times. Is this 27 biz days or calendar days?

Hi all

I applied BOWP on Jun 3rd and finally got approval yesterday along with my common law partner :)

I have a question now, since my BOWP got approved, does that mean i passed the R10 requirement?
