Bridging open work permit - Applying ONLINE

Has anyone tried to apply for extension of open work permit after AOR?
My PG open work permit expires next month and this week i just submitted all my papers for my PR.
I need to stay in canada and have trouble with extending my work permit ONLINE.
I finally found below remark on the CIC site.

So are Bridging open work permits ALWAYS processed by mail (offline)? Im just so nervous because this is unexpected and due to covid doing anything offline is very difficult.

I applied online bridging work permit as i got PR invitation and then AOR.
I was on post graduation work permit and it got approved last week.

Did you fill and submit IMM5710E form? There seems to be no specific submission just for bridge open work permit so I am confused.
The system just generated for me to fill in IMM5710E form which asks me to check off on the first page

below are the only options i can check off. What did you do? pls help

apply for a work permit with the same employer (which is not our case)
apply for a work permit for the first time or with a new employer (i got laid off due to covid)
restore my status as a worker
get a new temporary resident permit

Can anyone please help. My WP expires in Nov 2020. Is it possible that I apply for BW and leave Canada. Can I get it stamped from my country?
