Hello,
I’m in Canada with the IEC working holiday visa and I will start my masters in September. My IEC experience expires on April 28th, and I would like to know if there is a way to apply for a bridge visa/work permit that allows me to work from April to September. Can the work permit of my student visa be issued before I start school?
Or any ideas because I would like to stay here to work and save money to pay my masters.
thanks

To confirm - no bridging work permit available. Your employer needs an approved LMIA if you want to continue working.

Just to add given your IEC expires April 28th then to bridge the period between that and your study permit start date you would need to flip your status to a visitor to remain legal. This given unlikely any work option available for those 4 months.
