Hi everyone.

Hopefully, you have either got the immigration or about to get it in few months. Many opportunities and assistance will become available to you once you complete the landing.

Specially, if most of your education has been completed outside, and you just did a one year course in Canada. And though you did find a job, but are not happy in the job and you believe that you can do better, then i will strongly suggest to seek one of the Bridge Training programs relevant to your field of work.

One of the most powerful things that comes in these programs is the understanding of canadian work place culture. The politics and the smart language used on fresh and naive immigrants in work place - all of those things are decoded in these program. You will learn to understand what your boss is really expecting from you, even when they are politely asking your opinion about something. I find it really powerful, specially since i had worked here for sometime and faced some challenges in the work place.

Yes, the condition of these programs is to have no education from Canada. But if you speak to the program coordinator they might be able to make a way for you. All fees are paid by Govt. of Canada.

Hopefully it helps all of you.
