Combined with previous actions taken to manage the backlog, this means by the end of 2013 we will be able to process new applications as they are received – a “just in time” system – and aim to process them in less than a year
read the above statement carefully, why they will accept new applications if they are not able to process them in one year?
Mr Engineer it's not your fault because the statement published is so confusing that nobody is getting it I tried to read it very carefully but still confusing
1. he is talking about immigration visas of 240000 in prior statements and now he is saying 55000 including dependents will be admitted in 2013 while the backlog according to him is 100000 applicants means 250000 including dependents
2. In the past he was saying that the backlog will be eliminated in 2013 and now he is saying that it will be eliminated in 2014

+1 kkhan

I'm as confused, just thinking whether MI1 will get through in 2013 or 2014?

In 2013, CIC plans to admit between 53,500 to 55,300 Federal Skilled Workers, including their spouses and dependants. CIC intends to lift the current pause on FSW applications in 2013, when the new selection criteria are expected to take effect. The final regulatory changes will be available in the Canada Gazette later this year.

now you read the above statement carefully "CIC intends to lift the current pause on FSW applications in 2013"

Conclusion :- Its not yet decided what is going to happen in 2013 so just wait and see

WAIT FOR FEDRAL COURT RULING ON LITIGATION. IF MOTION IS ALLOWED THEN YOU ALL WILL BE PLACED BEHIND THE QUEUE.TIME IS THE ONLY JUDGE.

Hello Mr Engineer,

I do not read the article suggesting that there is a pause on accepting new application until the end of 2013. In my opinion Mr minister is suggesting that he would like to see new FSW application are processed just in time by the end of 2013. Within the article it is indicated that up to 55,300 FSW applicants are likely to be accepted in 2013.

Let us see what happens in terms of new applications in 2013.

Regards,

@ kenneyjason And you always said 7 yrs wait times was due liberls bad immi policies and on MI1 can u plz tell me how ur better thn librels??

His reply

@ Hsingh3222 1As a result of our reforms, the FSWP backlog is now about 120,000, & wait times will be less than 1 year by the end of 2013

@ Hsingh3222 2FSWP backlog was 640,000 and growing, w/ 7-8 year wait times. Without our changes, wait times would soon be more than 10 yrs

@ kenneyjason Minister please increase 2013 annual levels of FSW to accommodate backlog of MI1.You gave birth to us now pls dont abandon us

he didn't replied to the above

@ kenneyjason 1 agree with your vision but why u start accepting new apps in 2013 as there already 100000 waiting applicants under urs MI1-3

@ kenneyjason 2 You have enough material(your created+fresh) MI1-3 to consume 2013 levels.then why hotch potch whole happy backlog ending?

@ kenneyjason With respect sir i completly understand ur vision for cdnimm .plz introduce MI4 in 2014 as it will be only one n just in time

His reply

@ Hsingh3222 Fair point. It will be a very limited number of new applications, helping us to asses the new grid & educational evaluation.

plz asses his words ................Other than above Ive sent some more tweets to him too
