As far as I know, consulate mail gets delivered "specially". I am unsure if it is via courier once it reaches the nearest airport to the VO though.

IMO, things have a higher risk getting lost in the actual VO offices rather then on its way there.

Hey MadeInCanada, happy to have you on board again. I was thinking that they send our files first by electronic Couriers then the hard copies follow. How do you think about it?

Hello again!

I doubt it. Mississauga holds on to the files for up to 30 days, so they can get a big enough bundle to be sent all at once. (or so I was told)

Some of the information does get enter into the system that way, that is why they have the new bar codes.
But not everything can be entered that way(pictures/personal letters/payment ect).

Thanks I appreciate that my dear.

;D Still unsure about the brain and or experience part though.... :o

Brain people,

Why medical results go to London Uk instead of going to the visa office in Nairobi? secondly How long does it take to process those Medical datas and send to a VO?

I believe that each region has a designated head office that handles the results. Once received they get put into the system electronically. Then the information is available to the VO.

As to how long, I have heard 6 weeks (but have heard longer for some). So check out the Nairobi thread and see what you can find or ask others dealing with that office for their experience.
