BOWP vs Letter of Support closed permit dilemma

Hi, I've been recently nominated with the AINP. I have just sent my complete application package for PR.
My question is, since my current work permit expires in little more than a month, I am facing two options for my continued stay in Canada:
*Apply for Bridging Open Work Permit (BOWP) but I figured I won't be able to since I won't get my File number/AOR before my current permit expires;
*Use the letter of support provided by AINP to get a (I presume closed) work permit with my current employer.

I much rather get the open work permit to be honest so I'm wondering if I would still be able to apply for the BOWP, or if I go the safe route and apply with my current employer do I get a closed permit? Would I ever be able to apply for an open work permit before I get my PR?

Hey,
You can apply for bridging open work permit (BOWP).. If you are on LMIA and been working for employer more than 2 years you will be eligible for open work permit
do you have $155 option or $255 option while apply for BOWP?

if your work permit is expiring soon and haven't received AOR, you can get AINP supporting letter from AINP and apply for BOWP.
I will be open work permit, not bounded with any employer
worse case if it is bounded as other member mentioned before, its better to have status than no status

Is it possible to apply for BOWP only with AINP supporting letter? AINP officer advised me that my employer must pay for the compliance fee which $230 and the work permit will be closed one. not open. To apply for a BOWP, AOR must be included in the application. - that is what I was advised...

am in the same situation, can i apply for bowp with support letter and nomination certificate alone from ainp without making my employer to pay any compliance fee as i do not have LMIA? i dont care if they gimme close or open WP
