Hello everyone i hope you all are having an amazing time.

My pgwp is expiring in june and i have applied for pr in January 2022 and i didn't have my aor letter. I have no restrictions on employment and open permit
1. I would like to know if i can apply for bowp without aor and what documents are needed ?
2. I asked province to issue me a support letter but they issued me 204 t13 lmia exemption letter but my understanding says it will make my permit close and i am not sure if my employer is willing to do it for me. Also do you think its a mistake on province end to issue me 204 t13 exemption as i have no restrictions on my nomination and open permit ?

Any successful candidate who applied for bowp without aor ? And what documents you guys used

Any help would be highly appreciated in this matter thank you.

Hi Everyone!
I want to share that my BOWP has been approved (1 year, valid till Feb 2023).

Does anyone understand which rule IRCC follows when issuing BOWP of 1 or 2 years expiry?
FYI - My previous PGWP was valid for 3 years

Application: Oct 20, 2021
Ghost Update: Feb 24, 2022
Approved: Feb 25, 2022 | Valid for 1 year (Feb 2023)

Moreover I have given up waiting for pr. Let them give when they feel like. I just need my sowp and dependent visa to be approved. Atleast I could be with my family until IRCC feels like processing pr

Thats so strange, these people have no rules whatsoever! I jave seen some people who were inland with outland dependants getting 2 year BOWP

How long is the validity?
TRV from inside canada seems to be quicker these days I guess. In cic website it shows 18 days

It’s valid for two years. I guess they just sorta gauged how long your PR is going to take then give you the work permit duration based off of that

Me. Still waiting since Sept 10 2021. Current work permit expired on Feb 15, 2022.
I am hoping they are working on our PR application first because that one has been pending since May 29, 2020.

I have applied for bowp and its in process. I have also applied for my passport renewal coz it was due to expire,
so can I update cic once my new passport has arrived towards my bowp application which is in process.
Will they give me work permit based on old passport expiry or the new one ?

Your guidance would really help me

TRV was marked as approved and a passport was requested in 2 days after filing the application.
