Hello All,
Sunday 27th Dec I have applied for BOWP soon after submission I received a letter of "Confirmation of Online Application Transmission" but I am yet to get the submission confirmation and also WP-EXT only except PGWP letter. Normally, these letters will be sent out within 2 days of submission but it's been more than 3 days now I didn't get them.

Does anyone experience the same thing? I appreciate your reply.

There has been no movement in bowp in last 2 days. Not even they updated the processing time this Tuesday. Are they open and working? Or the office is closed. Does anyone have any update on their profile/application?

You're dealing with government, so don't count on it.

Hi..did you have to attach any offer letter from employer? Which option did you select - BOWP for existing employer or new employer?

i did attach employment letter (not offer) and chose existing employer but what i know from other threads are that either of the option should work fine but not sure about the letter

So this letter is like which of the 3 below:
1. An Employment Letter is similar to the work reference letter you might have attached with your PR application?
1a. Does it state anywhere that your employer intends to employ you for at least a year after your PR is granted?
2. Or is it more like the initial letter issued by your employer (like say a deputation letter) when you first entered Canada?
3. Or is it more like an employee verification letter that states the roles you played, salary, designation(s) etc.

More like 1 but it doesn't have to say the employer intends to employ for one year, which is only a requirement for PR. My permit says any employer.

I applied on December 20, 2020 and I am yet to receive the submission confirmation and the WP-Ext. I called after 2 days and they sent me a generic email showing that I have implied status. I was wondering what I haven't received any updates...

Just saw a post bowp applied oct 14 and got approved on 30th December. Only 2 months 15 days

I applied on October 19, 2020. If the October 15 guy has got the decision. I can expect my decision in the coming week. Fingers crossed!!! I hope I will get it. ‍‍‍
