Hi everyone,
Today i received letter stating "WP-EXT only except PGWP " what does this mean exactly? under the letter it mentioned the application number start with "U" to show to my employer for continuing working until "specific date" is mentioned.
Can anyone please clarify what does this letter exactly means?

Perhaps it is just 4 months extension of your existing workpermit. You might notice that the date given is exactly 4 months from the date they sent this letter.
Also I suppose that you won't go into implied status till the date mentioned in the letter.

Its an extension of work permit as IRCC doesn’t extend PGWP...once your PGWP is expired they give you an open work permit extension

did you apply for extending WP? Since the application for WP, extension and PGWP are all same, WP-EXT only except PGWP signifies that your WP has been extended, except PGWP, which cannot be extended beyond the initial date.

Hi - I am CEC Inland (principal) applicant with 3 dependents (Wife + 2 kids) and on a closed WP. My WP expires end of April 2021 so intend to apply for BOWP by end of Dec 2020 (4 months prior to expiry).

So, is BOWP applicable for me (principal applicant) alone? What visa category should I apply for my family members?

I applied on August 2, 2020.
got it approved on November 20, 2020. Aor is May 17.

I applied for bowp my wp is expiring on 25 nov. When i ll be on implied status can i work 2 to 3 jobs like right now or not?? Thanks in advance
