Anyone here who got their BOWP approved, while their medical in PR application is not yet passed?

My current work permit expires on November 1, 2021. Can I apply for BOWP as from May? Has anyone applied for BOWP even when they have more than 4 months on their current work permit? Am eager to change my current job. Please share you experience or views. Thanks!

No, you can’t apply BOWP before 4 months of your current work permit expiry .. this is one of the eligibility requirements .. and it will lead to refusal

Applied for BOWP

AOR: 25 Feb 2021.
BOWP Application Submitted: 07 Apr 2021.

My Current work permit is expiring on 31st July and I am planning to travel during July/August to India. So, to be on safer side I applied for extension of BOWP. Application got updated with old UCI and Biometrics post submission.

You can change your job/ accept a new job offer as long as your previous wp was an open one. Contacted and confirmed with IRCC already since i am in the same situation

I applied foreign worker stream PNP and I have close work permit valid until NOV 2022.

but I got invitation by Express entry when it went low as 75 point. so I applied both EE and PNP.

here is my question,
I have close work permit, but is it possible to BOWP or open work permit ?

Hi All,

I'm now applying for a BOWP and my minor child as dependent (Both inland). I just noticed that there is no photo requirement for my child in the online checklist. I can only see a digital photo for myself in the additional requirements.

Have you got the answer? I'm in the same situation.
Awating the BOWP to be approved, but still no medical passed (AOR FSW-Inland: Jan 15th, 2021)
