I hope so too. It has been an eternity.
I am desperately waiting for either BOWP or PR application to be approved.
My background check has been not applicable from the start. But eligibility has yet to begin. Still says we will let you know when we start reviewing your eligibility.
BOWP approved (2 years validity)for primary as well as secondary applicant.
50 mins after Background check status was updated the application was approved.
BOWP application date : 11 Sep 2021

have you applied for visa stamping ? if yes, any idea how much time is it taking ?
Congrats, when did your wp started being eligibility in progress? Mine is still eligibility not started
I guess prob an officer came over and took a look at your file for like 2m then be like hmm I like this guy, pass, next.
People who got their BOWP approved, did you guys get a message or an email ?
I see that my application is approved, but I didn't receive any message. usually its a pdf you can download which mentions that your work permit application has been approved.
I am asking this, because, I have a job offer and the employer is asking for proof of a valid work permit.

I think they will mail you a work permit. At least that’s what my lawyer told me.
