Hi everyone! I want to share my timeline to see if anyone is in similar situation.

• Application Submitted: June 12, 2024
• WP-EXT Letter received: June 13, 2024

No updates since then, my application has been in processing for 134 days, but there has been seemingly no progress at all

I think they only count the working days, exclude sat/sundays and public holidays

Not anymore, I think they switched to calendar days a couple of years ago https://ircc.canada.ca/english/helpcentre/answer.asp?qnum=540&top=13

Update: I've checked my mailbox, it was actually delivered without the In Canada Approval letter. I received it 1 week after my application was approved.

Oh it depends on the application. They gave me 2 years since I have been sent to 'Comprehensive Security' Screening.

i think everyone is stuck in security screening for no reason

bowp approved in 4 months (121 days to be exact) and valid for 2 years. hope it helps

BOWP/SOWP Applied : August 24, 2024
BOWP/SOWP AOR : August 24, 2024
BOWP/SOWP WP - EXT : August 25, 2024
BOWP/SOWP BVL/FD: December 23, 2024
BOWP/SOWP Approval: December 31, 2024
BOWP/SOWP Received: January 10, 2025

No you can't. you can call ircc call center for an update.
