Got approved- May 01, 2024

Hello, I Submitted My PR application(MPNP) on April 10, meanwhile, I became out of status
-> I have 90 days to restore my status
-> Though I already applied for my visitor record
So the question is once I get my file number am I eligible for BOWP? If Yes, will flag polling be the best idea?
Because right now it takes 4 to 5 months to approve BOWP.
-> Are there any side effects on the PR application?

Flag polling not allowed for BOWP.
I applied on 10 December
Got 5 May

A you already out of status, so you cannot work until final decision made.

there is no any other way to get permit soon.
you have to wait.

I have a weird issue. My BOWP application has been approved on Sep 6. But I didn't receive any In-Canada Approval letter (that says we have sent a secure document to the address) as of Today. Anyone knows if this is an issue or is it expected

Update: I've checked my mailbox, it was actually delivered without the In Canada Approval letter. I received it 1 week after my application was approved.

• Application Submitted: May 3, 2024
• WP-EXT Letter received: May 17, 2024
• Application Approved: Sep 6, 2024
• Work Permit Received in mail: Sep 12, 2024

Thanks for the info. Is it normal to not receive a WP-EXT Letter. I applied on June 11 and only got biometrics request as of now.

Sometimes yes. WP-EXT letter basically says you will be allowed to work for 180 days from your date of application. I got it 14 days after applying.
