BOWP returned due to missing documents.

Hello all,
I got my ITA and applied for PR under express entry(CEC) on November, the same month my open work permit also expired. I applied for my Bridge open work permit on November and it returned today due to some missing documents. What options do I have now? If I reapply would I still be in implied status? Any help is greatly appreciated.

Unfortunately, i don't think you're under implied status anymore. Best bet call CIC and ask them.

I'm applying for bowp today. Submitted my PR application on Feb 03. Hopefully bowp goes well.

You are now out of status in Canada and unfortunatley no longer qualify for a BOWP. You must stop working immediately.

If you want to remain in Canada without working, then you should apply to restore your status to visitor.

If you want to be able to work again, then you would need to obtain a job offer + approved LMIA and then restore your status back to a work permit.

I called CIC this morning and the lady said you may apply online and bowp will be issued once your eligibility review has passed. She asked me to make sure that I apply online before my current work permit expires which is on Feb 12 ???

Edit: You should have all the documents already from your PR application except the IMM5710. Go ahead and apply for BOWP.

you can't apply for a BOWP if your current visa has expired, sorry. So you need to apply for a visitor visa and stop work immediately. You can only return to work once you lad and activate your PR. Seeing as you submitted in November, hopefully you're coming towards the end of your wait,

Mine will be in APril but I don't have a Nomination or and ITA. Points is 427 ;(

Yes it is under process. Applied on Nov 5th under CEC inland category. Kind of stuck to what to do next. Planning to apply for restoration of status. I checked for eligibility online in Mycic account. It gave me an option to apply for Work Permit + Restoration of status + Open work permit holder fee for total of $455. I have time to apply till feb 22nd which is the 90 day mark to apply for restoration status.

Hello Experts,

My situation is Right now I got PPR. I applied under CEC category on November. The whole application package that I applied to BOWP was returned and asked me to fill out missing details and send it back with additional $200 for restoration status. So my action is send Passports and apply for restoration status and do Landing with the Restoration status application confirmation. Am I right?
