BOWP Rejected.....Please Help.....Urgent

When I went to Peace Arch on Friday evening at 6pm...I was the only one. Travel time was 40mins from Vancouver. Was back home with a new WP by 7.30pm.
But yes, as opposed to the confusion of forms and tick marks, border wait is much better. When I was rejected for BOWP, I didnt really have the intention for BOWP, I was fine with Closed WP. It was the stupid tool that guided me to apply for BOWP. Had they asked the question "Is your employer name on the PNP letter? If yes, apply for a Closed WP".

i think you have experience to extend work permit at US-CANADA Border so please provide me some advise to extend my work permit which is going to expire on 30 may 2015.
do we need to fill out all the form as we apply online or paper application to extend work permit ?
how much we have to pay there for work permit ?
Can we pay cash or with credit card ?
what document we need to show them ?
and any other important information related to work permt extend at border ?

i have "BC PNP approval letter", "work permit support letter","Pay stub of last 21 months",Employer Reference Letter" ETC.
In my BC PNP Approval letter has wrritten :-Restrictions on Employment:NO
but there is wrritten Business name and my Occupation and NOC.
can be also apply OPEN WORK PERMIT ?
i have submitted my BC PNP PR Application to CIO, Nova Scotia,Sydney on 01 December 2014.
still Waiting for AOR ? hopefully in April OR May 2015.

yeah that the thing i was said, you are absolutly right (with these new certificates you can apply for a BOWP (After you receive your Aor), or for a closed one with you nomination only.) because new ainp certificates says employment restriction - NO

i submited paper based open workpermit on 21st dec 2014 and recieved my open workpermit on 6th mar 2015.i submited my recent 3 months pay cheque,employer letter,draft,medical receipts and all forms .even though i dint send supporting letter from bc pnp and my pnp certificate stated employer name still they gave me one year open permit.now you dont have AOR and Medical done yet i have no idea if you are eligible for open workpermit or not.but i have heard if your pnp certificate doesnot state any employer resctriction then you can apply for open.if you are applying online then there is less chances of getting open workpermit.if your are somewhere near vancouver then better to go to boarder.

At border there is has possibility to get Open Work Permit ?
Do you know that they can give us open work permit at border ?

There are a lot of benefits to going to the border for a WP. The fact that you can talk to an actual person and explain your circumstances is always better than just being a faceless application someone is looking at.

Also keep in mind that I have heard of people being denied WP when they applied by paper or online and if you go on implied status while waiting . If you get denied when on implied status you must quit your job the day you get the refusal. I have heard of people getting denied a WP when they applied online or by paper for some minor reasons that could have been avoided if they had gone to the border where they could talk to a person face to face. Something as simple as checking the wrong box can cause some applications to be denied.

I am not sure if the person at the border could or would give you an open WP. It will depend on if you qualify for an OPW and/or the person you get at the border.

Here is a serious matter I ll really appreciate if anybody know answer.I got BOWP rejected todat due to my support letter had restriction on it.Emloyers name was mentioned on it.I am on restoration status now and they gave 90 day to apply wp again with restoration status and stopped working immediately.My PR file is in process since last year.

OK my question is it possible if can go at US border for extension of my wp now because my post grad work permit has been expired 2 weeks ago.otherwise it ll b agin 2-3 month process to reapply unless i get Passport request.

how about your temporary resident visa?has it been expired already aswell.if your visa still has some time then you better run to boarder and do flagpole.if your visa has expired then you better dont go to boarder because your visa has been expired.the better option will be apply your BOWP with suppoting letter and wait for your passport request and workpermit renewal.

I think so you are eligible for lmia exempt work permit so that you can get it. Hope this info will help you.

Need advice from anyone done with BOWP (Bridging open work permit),
I called the CIC call centre but they told me weird thing, they told me that BOWP can only sent using mail, not online.
And they said that "you must send an Application to Change Conditions or Extend Your Stay as a Worker to the Case Processing Centre in Vegreville, Alberta."

my question is , are there anyone done the Bowp online before??? please advise.
