Hey everyone, just wanted to ask that if BOWP got refuse and you are out of status and you PR application is in process , then you will be out of status. will that thing affect the PR application or no? IF no then person can go back to their home country and can wait there until the confirmation of PR??

What was your immigration process? Provincial Nominee? You cannot go back home and wait for results there and you must advise the province and IRCC of your new status (out of status). You cannot even work.

Thank you for ur reply. Right now my OINP file is in process and my status in that is 'additional processing time needed'. I submitted on 31 july 2024 through skilled trade stream. I havnt heard any thing from them yet. My work permit expired in Jan 2025 and right now i am on maintained status and will apply for vistor record. My concern is that when my dummy work permit will be refused then i have to stop working and its very hard to survive here and all the expenses nd everything will get hard. Even ircc giving only 6 months visitor visa. After that we cant do anything. I have until april 2025 upto that time i am eligible to apply BOWP by paying restoration fees(If i will get my oinp approved and will be able to submit my federal file and get Application number). but After that time i will have only one option left and that is going back and wait there for decision either the oinp decision or federal decision. Everything feels so complicated. That is why i was asking can we go back while OINp is in process? Will this thing affect the file processing?
