Can any one let me know, what does it mean by "Have valid status on a work permit that is due to expire within 4 months"?? Does it mean, i have to apply before 4 months of my Work Permit expiry date??

thanking you.

hi Nikkit,

If your PR gets processed before CIC actually looks into your BOWP application (which is 31 days now as per the WP processing timelines given online), then they'll refund ur BOWP application fees. You do not need to explicitly withdraw the BOWP application.

**Highly recommend including your AOR (email confirmation from CIC) and an explanation letter about what your are applying for. Hope that helps... :)
FYI everyone... A few members on this forum, including myself, have applied for the BOWP without attaching their AOR at first (because they hadn't received it yet at the time)... Turns out it works! 'aand' received her AOR last week, didn't attach it to her BOWP application, and this week she received her BOWP. It's a big relief, because now I am pretty sure I'll receive mine as well :D

Of course it's still better to fulfill all criteria from the start and avoid any extra stress. BUT sometimes there's no other way...
