Today I got a letter saying"You have not submitted documentation supporting your eligibility for a labour Market Impact Assessment exemption open work permit."
But I didn't mention I will provide LMIA.
I applied BOWP first. Then I applied PR. I send them the AOR letter as soon as I got it. It's been delivered on Jan 30. But the rejection letter dated Feb 28.
They should recieved it right?
Maybe they forgot it?
What should I do now?
Can they change their mind after they made a decision?
If I can't get BOWP then the time I have worked after my previous WP expires is invalid?
Then I won't get my PR?
Oh no. Really panic now.
Please help.

Did u send your AOR after you submitted your application. Maybe they already made their decision before they received it and didn’t look more into it even after you sent it. But it’s still confusing though. What exact connection does a LMIA have with an open work permit? Or did u mistakenly choose options that indicated you were supposedly applying for a closed permit?

Yes, I send AOR after I submitted the application. I even put "Not Applicaple - BOWP" in the employer line.

What was the work permit issused to you before you applied for bowp ?

Was it pgwp ? If yes, then you can only apply for bowp after you get an aor and not before . you also cannot apply for bowp if your post graduate work permit has expired.

Since you currently dont have status in canada you need to apply for a visitor visa and stop working asap.

I hope you completed 1 year of work experience when your previous work permit was valid or else your pr application will be rejected.
