I applied for my BOWP last Friday as it was set to expire on May 30th 2022.
I am still waiting on a decision to be made on my PR application which has been in process for over 10 months.
I have a question regarding the travel as I wait for the decision to be made on my BOWP.
I have a valid WP and a valid TRV until May 30th 2022, and after I applied for BOWP I got a letter from them to show my work that I can work under the same situation until a decision is made on my application. They also said in the letter if I travel outside Canada I will lose the work situation until a decision has been made.
My question is: I have travel plans to the US for 5 days in April. Can I travel and come back to Canada as I wait on the decision to be made on BOWP? My original WP & TRV are not expiring until the end of May.
Please any help on this would be appreciated! Thank you!
