Hello everyone,

I am applying BOWP online and to generate a code looks like QK4350881372 , I had to go through few questions.

- Do I need my photo to apply for BOWP ?
- I answered this was , temporarily work - more than 6 months
- another questions I was asked TRP/ Open work permit and I have selected open work permit.
I already generated my personal code and My question is , did I select the right options ?

we need to upload both principal applicant and spouse photos.

These are the digital photo requirements for online application.

Dimensions:

The final frame size of the photo must be at least 35 mm x 45 mm (1 3/8" x 1 ¾").
The photographs must show the full front view of the head, with the face in the middle of the photograph, and include the top of the shoulders.
The size of the head, from chin to crown, must be between 31 mm (1 ¼") and 36 mm (1 7/16").
Digital dimensions are often expressed in pixels or DPI (dots per inch). The physical dimensions in pixels must be at least 420 x 540.
Quality/Resolution:

If an existing photo is being scanned, the minimum resolution must be 600 pixels per inch.
File Format:

The file may be submitted in JPEG or JPEG2000 format.
File Size:

The final size of the image should be ideally 240 kB (kilobytes), but not less than 60 kB.
Colour:

The image must be in color (24 bits per pixel) in sRGB colour space which is the common output for most digital cameras.

I am applying for BOWP online and redirected me to document checklist page , which is correct.. Now in there I am showing the form they need which is ( "Application for visitor visa" (TRV) made outside of Canada , IMM5257. It should show IMM5710. I am not sure what I made mistake. Please suggest me. Thank you !

I have just applied for BOWP and SOWP online . submitted today.
Please check your questionnaire or start again.
which will redirect you to page for Open work permit or TRV. select Open work permit.
in there the option should be for IMM5710E and other supporting documents to be uploaded.

If you still face the issue. call CIC call center.

Hi Thanks for the reply. I had before IMM5710E in the doc check list but for some reason changed now. I have selected open work permit but still shows and fee should be 255 but shows 100. May be cache and cookies in the browser. I will try again. Thanks a lot.

* An Initial work permit or work permit with the new employer
* temporary resident Permit

--- Not sure which one I will select as I am not working as a LMIA

Not sure what they mean ? Is it UCI ?

Document no is different than UCI, you would be getting at top right corner (in my case)...
Trail & tested method : Try any no in that field it would say wrong format then compare with that no. UCI doesn't fir in that format.

Hello everyone ,

I have applied for BOWP online and paid by Credit Card while applied. There has a payment receipt generated for $255. On that receipt, I am showing that I will have to write my information send to CIC. Is it true ? If I have to send , what is the email address ? Please need some advice.
