BOWP Processing time

HI guys, quick question, how long does it take to get BOWP?

Current time: 73 days for paper applications and 30 days for online applications.

CIC website says above mentioned dates but it is taking longer.. some people i know who applied 3-4 Nov are still waiting for their BOWP approval

Is there any way to check the status of the BOWP application when you filed on paper?
