BOWP open work permit for my wife

I néed advice. I applied for PR already from inside Canada. I'm with my wife and children. I'm planning to apply for BOWP open work permit because mine will expire soon. My question is, should I apply application for work permit for me and my wife(separate application). Or it can be within the same application?
Can she stay with me without apply(she doesn't work any ways)?

You can submit your BOWP application and your wife's SOWP appilcation at the same time. They are separate applications, but they can be submitted together.

If she just wants to extend her stay as a visitor, she has to apply before her current permit expires - this is not processed at the same place as work permits, so it has to be submitted separately from your BOWP (include proof of your BOWP application - she does not have to wait until you receive your new BOWP).

Thank you @jes_ON for that great information, I'll apply for her to extend her open work permit with the same application (My BOWP), but I have 2 question to you:
*what is SOWP stands for?
*in the application BOWP, there is a required document "Proof of medical exam", I already did that exam a month ago before apply for PR, do I need to do that exam again? or send the same proof paper?
