BOWP - May Applicants

Processing times have been increased to 132 days now. Just checked CIC. They are currently working on May 8 applications. I'm so fucked up now with their ridiculous processing times.

may 27 online application, got approval email the day before yesterday. also the address is my current address which I changed 3 weeks ago.

is it your bowp application approved or someone else.?!i saw you got approved on September 3 in another post .and you applied may 7 ,

It is SO frustrating when you do the right thing and apply with only 4 months left on your existing permit. Looks like another round of implied status for me in January...

Processing times are increasing so quickly, from 120 to 132 days. By the time they reach September or August BOWP applicants it will be more then 6 months if it continues to go this pace. So frustrating

Congratulation. However, I understand from a previous post that you had online application on 7th May and that was approved on Sep 3. What is this May 27 online application?

Processing time 132 days does not make sense as many of us would have reached that timeline. Call center does not entertain that. The worry part is they are still at May 08. That means they have been working on applications May5-May8 (4 days) in the last on month. Hope it speeds up going forward.

I applied mine online on May 7, 2015. At that time my husband wanted to go back to our country. later on, he decided to stay together with me, that is why his application was submitted on May 27, 2015. He got approved the day before yesterday.

We have seen some of the May applicants got approval. I count about 5 online applications.
May 7
May 11
May 18
May 20
May 27

This contradicts the fact that they are working on May 8 applications. May 7 application was approved while the date was May 5 or before.

Any thoughts?

I got approved on my May 7th application when the processing time was still 112 days and they were, accordingly to their website, working on april 8 applications. You can't trust what the website says... If the website says they are currently working on may 8 applicants it is more likely they have already passed that, as the website is always outdated. Of course there are always some outliers too.......

Congratulations. How is your PR going, did you get the PPR?

PR is slow, like others, i am oct 6th applicant, got only 3 lines in ECAS just for acknowledgement, no update for RCMP check and upfront medical from 6 months ago, have applied for GCMS too but nothing there.

For BOWP only got approval mail, didn't get physical permit yet so can't apply for Visa.

It has been a week since you got approval. Physical permit must be on the way. PR has definitely become very slow. No other option than to wait. You can call since you crossed 11 months.
