Anybody tried calling CIC? I tried several times but could not get any call center agent because of high volume of calls.

Got a mail yesterday that there has been no updates in my application (May 15 online application).

Guys I was April 27 online still waiting?its been 138 days over .i applied my child visitors extensions same day [27 apr) got approved on aguest 31st but mine is not yet

What have they said to you when you called them? Something seriously seems wrong here.

I have a friend who applied online on Apr 27 and still didn't get approved. He called and was told to wait patiently as CIC was telling him approval might be delayed to late October. They couldn't tell any reason!

well I called twice and they take a look my application &said my file is open .keep in eye in my my cic account. thats it-

OK I called CIC just now and they are saying that the processing time you see the website which has not been updated is the one

We have to expect the time. CIC told me that We would be fine( NOT sure though).....anyway, They acknowledged that

the process for the ex work permit is delayed

Did you get many of these emails where they say your account is updated? If so, when and how many did you get?

OK thanks. I also thought you would have got other emails stating "your application has been updated". Then when you go in, nothing has changed.

The email that says "You have a new message" - that is the one where they grant the approval
