Hello Everyone,

CIC has updated and increased the processing time from 56 to 62 days. The last time they had updated it on March 20th and they were working on Jan 22nd application. After almost a week, they are working on Jan 23rd applications.

It's extremely slow.

its not an BOWP if they asked u that..it is just a regular work permit. u can apply for BOWP if u already have application for PR..u should say YES to first stage approval..and YES to submitted PR application. then put NO to job offer..u will be then choose between temporary visa and open work permit.

hi

i have done upfront medical and now waiting for RPRF, but my wp is expiring in July.

to play safe i will have to apply for bowp, but just wonder what will happen if I landed before the bowp is approved? (the current bowp timeline is 62 days). will i get a refund for the $155 paid?

thanks
