Thanks for the quick reply. Yes, in another forum someone sent the app without sending the AOR. But he sent his application on papers with an explanation (not sure what he explained). So, he had the provision to send his AOR again later on paper.

But our case doesn't allow us this way to send more documents, unless they give us options on our mycic account. Sure, I will update if something new come out. Please, update us your scenario as well.

I personally didn't see anyone on this forum who was refused after he/she applied for the BOWP without the AOR which he/she received during the BOWP processing. On the other hand people applied without the AOR (witch was not received during the processing time) were refused. So I personally think that the VO are checking the status (taking couple of seconds) before giving refusal.

You replied very logically in fact. It takes less than a min to check the status for them. Moreover, we are required to provide our UCI & App no while filling up the forms. It is crystal clear that people are applying for BOWP before receiving AOR just to reduced the processing time and get the permit faster. It makes proper sense they way you have explained. +1 for you .

Processing time in CIC websites increased today from 41 days to 43 days. According to Feb 20 updates, they are working on app until Jan 07.
I had to extend my expected BOWP news from this week (if it were 41 days) to next week (43 days).

According to the processing time (43 days) mentioned in cic website, you are supposed to receive (online acceptance) your BOWP by this week (Feb 25 ~ 27).
Please, don't forget to update us.

My work permit application was updated a few hours ago. Now it says that the application has been approved.

Hope this brings tranquility to those who are in the same situation (AOR received after the app was submitted).

Not sure how long it takes to be printed & mailed though. Any clues?
