BOWP implied status for spouse on initial AOR?

Hi guys,

I'm currently on a PGWP valid till 31st Dec and my spouse on a spouse/dependent open work permit.

Can I apply for a bowp for my spouse too on a initial AOR? And once I do so can the spouse continue working on implied status.

Implied status is person specific. One person cannot benefit from the implied status of another.
