Hey Guys,

Quick Question, I am CEC Inland with LMIA AOR 10TH Feb.

Current LMO Runs out June 3rd. I have applied for a BOWP.

I have to fly to the UK from Canada on 5th of June.

I am assuming if my BWOP does not come through before I fly home, I will be on Implied status until I either leave Canada, My BOWP is approved or My PR is Complete.

I understand that if you leave Canada while you are on Implied Status, you cannot return with implied status.

My Question is, If I leave Canada and my BOWP is approved while I am out of Country, can I re enter Canada on the BOWP without any issues?

Also, If the BOWP is approved, before I leave Canada, Am I Ok to Leave and The Reenter Canada without any problems?

Thanks In Advance.

A work permit doesn't allow re-entry, you must have a valid temporary resident visa along with your work permit to be able to return to Canada. You would have to wait for your BOWP to come through, after which you would apply for a temporary resident visa.

The part about the TRV is only true if you are from a non-visa-exempt country, my guess is that the OP is from a visa exempt country.

??? Do you mean, your current work permit expires on June 3?

I have to fly to the UK from Canada on 5th of June. I am assuming if my BWOP does not come through before I fly home, I will be on Implied status until I either leave Canada, My BOWP is approved or My PR is Complete.

PR application has nothing to do with implied status (unless if means you no longer need a work permit because you've been approved).

Generally, yes, if you apply for a BOWP and your current permit expires before processing is finalized, then generally, yes, you are on implied status. Unless you leave Canada, at which time you loose implied status .

My Question is, If I leave Canada and my BOWP is approved while I am out of Country, can I re enter Canada on the BOWP without any issues?

Well, if it is approved while you are out of the country, you will somehow need to get it into your hands before you return. Keep in mind that one of the requirements for the BOWP is that you are "in Canada," I don't know what impact (if any) leaving Canada while it is in process would have on your BOWP eligibility.

Also, If the BOWP is approved, before I leave Canada, Am I Ok to Leave and The Reenter Canada without any problems?

That's the only easy question - yes : ) But again, there's "approval" and then there's receipt of the physical document. You want that in hand...

BOWP is coming in 20-25 days now, don't go anywhere if you are on implied status
After getting BOWP you can go to other country but you have to apply for Temporary resident visa from that country to enter in Canada again.
This is what i think
