BOWP - How many of you have applied and received it successfully?

Hello guys..anybody who did paper application for bowp in november?

My paper application received on 6th Nov 2014, Open work permit got already expired on 17th Nov. I am working under implied status. My CEC application was received on 15th Sep and Bank Draft was in-cashed on 27th Nov hopefully I will get bridging. In immense pressure dont know what to do really do not want to loose my job at any cost.. so far no AOR neither any response on Work permit..

87 days for same employer, 69 days for new employer (paper application)
Online application is 46 days for both.

i just checked my online account , and they updated to Approved for me and my spouse.
I have applied on Dec 2nd and got the approval today , still waiting for the hardcopy to be mailed.

Hi,

Submitted BOWP on saturday online, after the successful fee receipt, i got a message "the application is under Processing Submission, will be updated in 24hrs"
even on monday it is same status.
i dint receive confirmation email as well.

Does it happen to anyone?
please guide what can be my next steps?

Well I guess if you are doing BOWP then you should put it as a new employer, if you check cic processing time it shows updates from 2nd Jan 2015 that these folks are working on 24th Oct paper applications, so my thinking is maybe in couple week they will start processing Nov applications.

Long story short... do you guys think is there any chances that I can get bridging ? super nervous this time never was in this kind of situation.. any reply would be appreciated.

Hi,

I am on open work permit and my PR application is in process. I have my AOR.

My work permit expires in 3 months and i would like to begin preparing my BOWP application. I already work for an employer full time.

Can anyone guide me on how to go about applying for the BOWP? I know some questions in the BOWP questionnaire can be confusing (How long do you intend to stay in canada? Do you have an existing job offer? etc etc).

Advise will be greatly appreciated.
