Applied November 19, as I said I got approval on MyCIC on December 30.

Hi guys,

I have a question, hope someone could help.

My OWP will be expired on April 30, I need to travel outside of Canada end of March. Looking at all the posts here I assume it would take at least 7 weeks to get the WP. I also need to renew my Visa. My question is, should I renew my work permit now in order to get the Visa in time for my trip? Or should I just renew my Visa first then renew my WP later?

how can you renew ur visa without renewing ur WP?? if ur visa is expired long ago and if u sent for the renewal you will get only till Apr 30th .
better apply now for the new wp and then apply visa renewal.
