BOWP - How many of you have applied and received it successfully?

On a suggestion from the CIC call centre, I sent in the passport pages (the ones with the stamps) that I neglected to include in my BOWP application, along with an explanation letter and delivery details of the original application, in the hope that they can do me a favour and attach them.

I'm almost positive that this will not work, but it's worth a try, right?

Are you able to logon to ECAS by any chance and able to answer me a quick question? To logon do we have
to put a dash '-' between the UCI or not?

I just tried logging into ECAS and I can see the status as "Application received".

I had similar issue and I called to help desk and they raised a ticket which was resolved in a weeks time.. you can call to 1-888-242‑2100 if you are in Canada.

My application was BOWP was succesful. Applied online on Oct 18. Received confirmation today Nov 7 on the CIC website. WP valid until 2014/11/06.
Same for my wife who was also included in the application.

No, it had exactly 4 months left when I applied (valid till 2013/02/17). I guess you were confused by the way I wrote the date? year/month/day

My immigrtn consultant just texted me that my BOWP is approved for 1 year. I applied for it on Oct 16th. My visa expires in Feb 10, 2014.
I didn't want to attach any ROE or paystub at the same time, but she suggested that I attach some recent paystub to show that I'm still working.

So weird, that my payroll office just e-mailed my department today about visa expiring, and I got BOWP! Yeay!
'hope this rushes my CEC file!

Oops.. I knew it! I was asking in the first place about the possibility of applying BOWP along with spouse (she's outside Canada )on this topic. As you replied on my enquiry so I assumed you are married then. Anyway, congrats again on your BOWP.

Just heard about CIC introducing cap on PR applications under CEC. Not sure if any possible changes on BOWP policy on the way or not !!
