BOWP got approved, whats next?

Hi guys,

I just checked the status of my BOWP, and I got approved.
However, I didn't see any email from CIC, just says my application was approved? I wonder what is gonna happen next?
Will they send me the new work permit to my current address or ?

I am keen to find out the answer to this question also as I applied for my BOWP on 10 April. From what I read from another poster who got his/her BOWP, they mail it to the address you listed in the application.

Also can you state your PR application timeline and your BOWP timeline please?

Yes, IRCC will send you a new WP which mean you can work anywhere in Canada and at the moment you just wait for an email from them again which call PPR.

Received e-ITA: Dec. 08, 2016
Application submitted: Feb. 03, 2016
(only pass medical so far, others are still under review)

Here is my BOWP timeline,
Application submitted: April 03, 2016
Approved: April 21, 2016

Which is faster than I expected, I was a bit worried about it since I heard some rumors.

You apply online, and the system will walk you through the whole thing. Nothing rock science.
When you answer how long you are planning to stay question, choose more than six month, that was my answer to that.
And for the letter of explanation section, I attached my current PGWP and E-AOR.

Hi, I received a direct ITA under CEC this April 6th. I submitted my application and received AOR on April 16th. I would like to apply for a BOWP online but I would like to know if it is ok to answer yes to being in canada with a first stage approval? I can't seem to get the wizard to give me the option to apply for a work permit otherwise. I am currently living in Canada with a PGWP that's due to expire on July 29th, received ITA with 477 points, no LMIA/PNP. Any help is greatly appreciated +1

the first stage of approval is your AOR so answer yes to that question.

My BOWP is also approved too, I checked it today. It takes only 4 days to get approved. I either didn't receive any message just has updated status with Approval of WP.

I applied it on 22nd April and got approval on 28th April, which is bit more surprised for me. Now really curious to wait for PPR message.
