BOWP Expiring no decision yet on PR can reapply for BOWP

Dear members,

I have a question:-

1. I am on a BOWP which is valid till august 2015. If my PR is delayed then can i apply again for BOWP sometime in May 2015 so that i can avoid in the situation of being in implied status and employer raise question not allowing me to continue in the job?

What do you mean by delay? As long as you have your AOR with positive feedback you can extend your BOWP.

I am expecting to get my PR before August 2015. since i was about to get my MR but not yet received. so the turnaround time to get the PR might be delayed. so be in a safer side i am thinking to re-apply for BOWP in May 2015.

I'm on the same boat as you. Application received May 29th and no MR yet. I suspect it needs 2nd review. My PGWP expires July 18th so i'm gonna apply for BOWP in March just in case. The earlier the better. God forbid if anything I will have a few months to apply under EE.

I think better to apply for BOWP so that you are good for another 1 year and sure you get you Pr before that. Praying to god for all of us in the same situation to get PR ASAP.
