My application for a BOWP was denied today - the reason given was that I had not provided an LMIA from my employer, which I was confused by as I understand the BOWP is LMIA-exempt. After looking over my application, I realized that my AOR was not attached, which I assume may be the issue here. I've sent in a web form asking for the opportunity to re-open my application so I can include the documentation. Is there any possibility that they would be willing to do this? Without my worker status, my situation becomes very critical, and I'm extremely concerned about what will happen. Any advice on how to proceed would be exceptionally appreciated.

In your form IMM 5710, did you choose apply with same employer? That could be the issue, for OWP, you should choose apply for first time or a new employer.
