BOWP - DEC Applicants

Hi, i need some help!

I am filling out the application for BOWP. I am on open work permit and employed full time right now.

What should i do in the section for "DETAILS OF INTENDED WORK IN CANADA"? They are asking in that section labour market opinion number, what my duties will be, until when i am intending to work there. All that sounds complicated for my situation.

What should i do???

Hello Forum members,
I am a Sept CEC applicant. My current Work Permit expires in 24Th Jan 2015. I haven't recieved my AOR yet, but i am expecting anytime next week. I have applied for BOWP paper application without AOR (explaining in cover letter). My question is, if I receive my AOR next week, can I submit another BOWP application online. If so, what will happen to my paper application which i submitted earlier.
Any suggestions will be great.

As per CIC update as of today. They are working on Nov 29th applications.
You should be hearing from CIC within this week.

Can anyone help me in my case and advise?

I am in Canada and have closed work permit. Also, I have applied for PR(under CEC category) and have received the application no. I am in a weird scenario wherein my employer will ask me to leave the company if I switch from closed WP to Open WP.
But as my current closed WP is due for expiry in May 2015, I want to apply for BOWP now and look for other opportunities

My questions are:
a) Is it better to apply Online or on Paper.
b) How much time will it approximately take for the BOWP to get processed?
c) Is there a chance of CIC rejecting my BOWP application(assuming that I have filled up the application correctly)
d) What will happen my company applies for an extension of closed WP after I apply for BOWP?
Is it possible that both will get approved?
If so, does it mean that I can use any of the WP as per my convenience?
e) I believe there are two stages in BOWP.
First Stage: CIC will approve and I can see it online.
2nd Stage: I will receive the physical copy of the WP.
Can I start working for any company as soon as I clear the first stage?

In your scenario it is better to apply online since you already have AOR. Paper based are suggested to applicants who do not have AOR.
b) How much time will it approximately take for the BOWP to get processed?
If you apply online, currently it is taking approx 40-50 days.
c) Is there a chance of CIC rejecting my BOWP application(assuming that I have filled up the application correctly)
Well as long as you have filled in application properly, have AOR and have less than 4 months validity on your current work permit, then by all counts your BOWP should be approved.
d) What will happen my company applies for an extension of closed WP after I apply for BOWP?
Is it possible that both will get approved?
If so, does it mean that I can use any of the WP as per my convenience?
Whichever one is processed first will get approved. So if you apply BOWP first and it gets approved, the company's closed WP application will be rejected, and vice versa.
e) I believe there are two stages in BOWP.
First Stage: CIC will approve and I can see it online.
2nd Stage: I will receive the physical copy of the WP.
Can I start working for any company as soon as I clear the first stage?
Well yes you may resign once you see online status as approved but it takes only 3-4 days generally to get the BOWP in mail so i suggest might as well wait as it will not make that big of a difference. As for working for another company, you can work AFTER the issue date on your BOWP.. so a BOWP may have been approved but perhaps there is some delay in issuance due to printing queue or whatever.. so it is recommended to wait until you get a hardcopy of BOWP in hand
