BOWP at the Border

Hello Seniors , can any one comment on this
I am working for a client in Toronto and my current BOWP is due to expire on NOV 2015. i have already applied for my second bowp in September and its in process and hope it wont come before new year with the current processing times. now my client is saying we need a valid permit to extend your contract. i have explained them about the implied status and given all the CIC info links but the company legal department is not considering that info.
Now Q1 - Can i go the border by driving and get an extension ?
Q2 - if so , should i again pay the fee at the border ?
Q3 - If they wont issue BOWP at the border , will they allow me back into Canada ? i dont have TRV visa also its expired a while ago

Your advice's are highly appreciated . At last i am NOV 2013 applicant waiting for updates from CIC. no updates for my file after AOR

You cannot get BOWP at the border

Don't even try.

• you can't get BOWP at the border
• once you exit Canada your implied status is gone - you should be able to come back on a tourist visa, but you will no longer be allowed to work until BOWP gets approved

I have my current BOWP valid till Nov 15 2015 , so i am not in implied status. just want to have new BOWP by that time so that i can continue my job or else i will loose my job.
